Matt McClure

Matt McClure is a multi-platinum selling, 3-time Grammy-nominated, multi-#1 Producer/Recording Engineer/Mixer achieving over 12 billion streams and counting for his artist's careers.  Growing up in the small farm town of Sullivan, Illinois, his love of music led him to pursue a degree in music, graduating from Millikin University ('92). McClure moved to Nashville, TN in the spring of 1993.  Shortly thereafter, he began touring with RCA recording artist Lari White followed by almost 12 years of touring with acts such as Tanya Tucker, LoneStar, and Jo Dee Messina, just to name a few.  In 2003, Matt began transitioning his touring career from the road life to the recording studio.

“I never lose focus on this:  The art of record making should be about the artist and how they connect with the audience through a great song and performance.”

Since August 2011, Matt co-produced three #1 hit singles for Lee Brice.  “Hard To Love” (3x Platinum), “I Drive Your Truck” (1x Platinum), and “Drinking Class” (1x Platinum). “I Drive Your Truck” became the 2014 CMA and ACM “Song Of The Year”, earning 2 Grammy nominations in 2014 as well. 2017 garnered another #1 with Dylan Scott "My Girl" (2x Platinum). In 2019 Aaron Goodvin's "You Are" went to #1 (Gold) followed by a Juno nomination for "Record of the Year" in 2020.

“Sometimes I’m a creator. Other times I’m a facilitator. My goal is to ALWAYS serve the artist’s vision and sound.”
